My father is a photographer, my mother a visual artist, and my stepfather a carpenter. (In short, I am by far the least skilled of a very visually and spatially oriented bunch.) For me, photography is a way to connect with a space or individual, in addition to being a way to document a moment in time whose meaning will be renegotiated in later periods. These photographs are organized into thematic albums and come from a variety of places I have visited over the last decade. With the exception of two taken by my father, this work is my own.
